Instructors Primary I

Kirsta Sendziak is a performer and dance instructor who lives in
Cambridge, MA. She started her dance training in Buffalo, NY with
Clare Fetto
of The Festival School of Ballet and Elaine Gardner Me and Ellie
of Pick of the Crop Dance
. After graduating from The Buffalo Seminary,
Kirsta attended Hampshire College completing a Bachelor of Arts
in 2003 in Dance and Psychology. In Boston, she has performed
with Kelly Donovan and Dancers and choreographer Josie Bray.
In 2008 Kirsta performed a solo from
Marcus Schulkind’s
“Ladies’ Night Out
.”
Her dancing has been reviewed numerous
times by The Boston Globe. She also teaches ballet, modern and
jazz dance at the Brookline Center for Adult Education, Brookline, MA.


Elena Greenspan grew up in Massachusetts and received her early training at Elena
Donna Miceli Dance Center. She graduated magna cum laude from the University
at Buffalo
with a B.A. in Dance and a minor in Speech and Hearing Science.
While at Buffalo, Elena choreographed and danced in several original pieces.
Elena is a current member of Prometheus Dance, a modern company based in
Cambridge, MA, and Hyperbole Dance, a contemporary company based in Boston, MA.
She has performed as a dancer in commercials that have appeared regionally on
television. Elena has had additional training with Elisa Monte, Ronald K. Brown,
H.T. Chen, Urban Bush Women, Jon Lehrer, and Jeannette Neill Dance Studio.
Elena's love and passion for dance is also expressed through her desire to teach.
She is currently on the faculty at Jeannette Neill Dance Studio, Broadway
Bound Dance Center
and The School of Classical Ballet. Elena has
worked with handicapped children using movement as a means of expression
and as an outlet for their innate creativity.


Jennifer Taranto has been teaching at The School of Classical Ballet for
2 years.  She began her ballet training in Warwick, NY at the age of 10. During
high school she studied at the Joffrey Ballet School, American Ballet
Theatre
and the New York Ballet Institute where she received her
most intensive training. Here, Jenn was trained in the Vaganova method
from former students of The Kirov Academy of St. Petersburg.  She continues
to pass down this style of ballet to her students, with its clean lines and
strong emphasis on port de bras.  Along with ballet classes, Jenn takes
flamenco with Ramon de los Reyes at the Dance Complex
She loves choreographing and teaching at The School of Classical Ballet


Natalia Maldari trained and danced with the New England Civic Ballet
prior to attending Goucher College where she studied ballet, modern dance, and
choreography extensively. She began teaching Beginning Ballet while still in
high school and started teaching at The School of Classical Ballet in 2011.
